🔥 How to Light & Maintain the Sauna Stove

1. Open Drawer

  •  Open the small drawer below the glass door for airflow.

2. Start Fire

  • Clear old ash - remove ash drawer and empty into black ash can. 

  • Add 3 to 5 pieces of crumpled paper in the center.

  • Stack small kindling in a loose crisscross pattern over the paper.

  • Add 1 - 2 small dry logs. Do not overfill the firebox.

3. Light Fire

  • Use the lighter (in bench box) to ignite. 

  • Close the stove door but keep the drawer open 1 inch.

4. Build Heat

  •  After 5 - 10 minutes, add more wood if needed.

  • Once burning steady, close drawer to ½ inch.

  • Close drawer all the way at 110-120 degrees, internal sauna temp. Keep drawer closed to maintain heat.

5. Heat Time

  •  Sauna is ready in 50 - 70 minutes, depending on weather.

🔥 Maintaining Heat

  • Add 1–2 logs every 1-2 hours to keep temperature steady.

  • Empty ash pan after every 4 sessions for good airflow.

  • Do not overfill firebox.
